Stage 7: Hilly/late-race
Tour of Türkiye 2026
Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana Team) won the 152.8 km Antalya circuit stage from a slimmed-down group, beating Marceli Bogusławski and Tom Crabbe. Sebastian Berwick safely kept the turquoise jersey.
Ballerini wins the Antalya circuit stage
Stage 7 was a 152.8 km circuit race around Antalya, a punchy day that thinned the bunch before the finish. The experienced Italian classics rider Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana Team) read the finale best, taking the win ahead of Marceli Bogusławski (ATT Investments) and the in-form Tom Crabbe (Team Flanders - Baloise), who picked up enough points to keep him in the hunt for the green jersey. The GC contenders stayed together at the front, so the overall battle was unaffected on the penultimate day.
Berwick holds the lead into the final stage
Sebastian Berwick came through Stage 7 without losing time, carrying the turquoise jersey and his slim lead over Iván Sosa into the flat final day in Ankara. Ballerini's strong finish briefly handed him the points-classification lead, while Berwick kept the mountains jersey. With only the flat Ankara circuit left, Berwick needed simply to stay upright and in the bunch to claim the overall.
