Aniołkowski takes the bunch sprint in Fethiye
Stage 4 was a 130.4 km run from Marmaris to Fethiye that returned to a sprinter-friendly finish after the Kıran summit. With no GC time on offer in the bunch, the day came down to a fast finale where the Polish fast man Stanisław Aniołkowski (Cofidis) proved strongest, edging Canadian Riley Pickrell (Modern Adventure Pro Cycling) and Davide Persico (MBH Bank) at the line. It was Aniołkowski's first win of the race; the GC contenders all finished safely in the same bunch.
Sosa holds turquoise; GC frozen on a sprint day
With the bunch finishing together, the overall standings were unchanged: Iván Sosa retained the turquoise jersey ahead of Sebastian Berwick and the cluster of climbers. The mountains lead stayed with Sosa and the points jersey with Tom Crabbe. All eyes turned to the back-to-back showdown of the Patara - Kemer transitional day and the queen stage to the Feslikan summit.
