Stage 2: Second stage
Tour of Türkiye 2026
Tom Crabbe (Team Flanders - Baloise) doubled up in Marmaris, winning a second straight bunch sprint on the 152.8 km stage to extend his hold on the turquoise jersey ahead of Sente Sentjens and César Macías.
Crabbe makes it two from two in Marmaris
Stage 2 ran 152.8 km from Aydın down to the coastal town of Marmaris and produced another sprint finish. The breakaway was controlled and caught with the sprint trains taking over inside the closing kilometres. Tom Crabbe again proved fastest, holding off Alpecin - Premier Tech's Sente Sentjens and Burgos Burpellet BH's César Macías to take his second consecutive victory. The young Belgian's two wins and the accompanying bonus seconds tightened his grip on the overall lead and the points classification before the race turned uphill.
Crabbe holds turquoise with a doubled-up lead
Crabbe retained the overall lead after a second stage win, his bonus-second cushion growing over the other sprinters. The GC contenders stayed safely in the bunch, biding their time for the Stage 3 summit finish at Kıran where the true climbers would finally show their hand. Caja Rural - Seguros RGA still led the teams classification.
