Narváez bridged into the move on the Passo del Termine and was a constant presence at the front through the closing climbs. He marked Diego Ulissi's late attack inside the final 2 km and then sat on Enric Mas's wheel as the Spaniard accelerated to Cogorno, letting Mas do almost all the work over the top. In the two-up finale at Chiavari he came around comfortably to take the sprint, claiming his third stage win of this Giro.

Stage 11: Porcari → Chiavari
Giro d'Italia 2026
Jhonatan Narváez (UAE Team Emirates XRG) completes a hat-trick of stage wins on this 195 km hilly day through the Cinque Terre, beating Enric Mas in a two-up sprint at Chiavari after a long breakaway. Afonso Eulálio crosses over three minutes down in the peloton and keeps the pink jersey for a seventh consecutive day, with Jonas Vingegaard at +0:27.
Narváez seals hat-trick from the break, Eulálio still in pink
An aggressive start saw a large group with Giulio Ciccone, Jasper Stuyven, Koen Bouwman and Christian Scaroni among others force an early gap, but the peloton clawed it back to gruppo compatto after roughly 30 km. The day stayed unsettled until Chris Harper, Andreas Leknessund and Mattia Bais got away and were joined by a dozen riders including Alberto Bettiol, Stuyven, Diego Ulissi, Aleksandr Vlasov and Ludovico Crescioli. Their lead stretched to 1:30 before the climb at La Foce dragged it under a minute, prompting Enric Mas and Lennert Van Eetvelt to give chase. They bridged across on the Passo del Termine alongside Jhonatan Narváez, Christian Scaroni, Brieuc Rolland, Filippo Zana and Warren Barguil.
The Colle di Guaitarola whittled the front group down, and the leaders crested four minutes clear of the peloton. On the descent Van Eetvelt, Zana and Scaroni hit the deck. Stuyven, Vlasov and Narváez jumped clear to start the Colla dei Scioli with a small lead before being rejoined; Ulissi then attacked inside the last 2 km, with only Harper, Mas, Vlasov and Narváez able to follow immediately. On the climb to Cogorno, Mas accelerated with Narváez glued to his wheel, and the pair moved through the village 26 seconds up on the chasers.
The two rode together to the line in Chiavari, where Narváez won the sprint with ease for his third stage win of this Giro. Over three minutes later the GC group rolled in together, leaving the overall standings untouched at the top and Eulálio safely in pink.
Eulálio holds pink for a seventh day, Vingegaard still 27 seconds back
The breakaway took the spoils so the GC went unchanged among the contenders, who finished together in the peloton at +3:24. Afonso Eulálio retains the maglia rosa for a seventh consecutive day. Behind him the order holds: Jonas Vingegaard at +0:27, Thymen Arensman +1:57, Felix Gall +2:24, Ben O'Connor +2:48, Jai Hindley +3:06, Michael Storer +3:28 and Derek Gee-West +3:34, with Giulio Pellizzari ninth at +3:36 and Markel Beloki tenth at +4:16. With Vingegaard sitting under half a minute back, the pressure on Eulálio's pink jersey continues to build ahead of the harder stages to come.
Storylines from the stage
Scaroni was active from the gun, featuring in the early aggressive group, and later made it into the main breakaway after the chase reshuffled the front. He was caught in a crash on the descent of the Colle di Guaitarola together with Van Eetvelt and Zana, which cost him contact with the leaders. He recovered to finish sixth on the stage at +1:13.
Pellizzari stayed protected in the peloton with the GC group, finishing safely at +3:24 with the other contenders. He sits ninth overall at +3:36 after the stage, holding his place in the top ten without any change to the classification.
