The final stage, a 113.1 km loop in and out of Donostia/San Sebastián, was the real examination of the overall. On the Donostia circuit the climb of Mendizorrotz created the decisive split, and crucially it distanced race leader Mischa Bredewold.

That moment briefly put the title in doubt, but Bredewold stayed calm, descended well and chased back into the front group in the closing kilometres — the ride that ultimately secured her overall victory. She didn't need to win; she needed the gaps not to open, and they didn't.

At the front, Dominika Włodarczyk turned the reduced group into a second consecutive stage win, taking the sprint ahead of Évita Muzic and Lauren Dickson. After splitting the race on the climbs, her repeat victory made her the defining stage rider of the weekend even as the maillot stayed with Bredewold.

By rejoining the front group before the line, Bredewold sealed the overall in 10h 15m 56s, 21 seconds ahead of Yara Kastelijn, with Lauren Dickson third on the same time as Kastelijn. Riejanne Markus finished fourth at +0:22 and Antonia Niedermaier fifth at +0:29. Bredewold also took the points classification, Kastelijn the mountains, Ema Comte the young rider classification and FDJ United-SUEZ the team classification.
