Paul Seixas won the queen stage Eibar circuit — 176.2 km, 3,800 m climbing, eight categorised climbs — beating Florian Lipowitz in a two-up sprint. Romo, Vauquelin and Izagirre +1:03/+1:11 in the chase. Seixas's third stage win of the week.

Seixas's third win, the queen-stage stamp
176.2 km Eibar circuit, 3,800 m climbing across eight categorised climbs. Seixas and Lipowitz went clear on the final ascent and rode together to the line; Seixas took the sprint.
The GC argument from Stage 2 — Seixas dropping every favourite by 1:23 — has now become structural. Lipowitz the surprise of the week, going from no top-5 talk to two-up with the GC leader on the queen stage.
