Tour
Féminin International des Pyrénées
Three days of climbing-focused racing in the French Pyrenees (12-14 June 2026), the fifth edition and first under the UCI ProSeries (2.Pro) banner. The race opens with a hilly stage from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Mourenx, builds to a decisive high-mountain stage that climbs the legendary Col du Tourmalet, and closes with a hilly finale where the GC can still be defended or overturned. Total distance is compact (roughly 370 km), so time gaps are made on the climbs rather than in volume.

Fight for the overall
Narratives to watch
- Two-time defending champion Usoa Ostolaza (Laboral Kutxa) arrives as the rider to beat, hunting a third straight overall on home-favourite Pyrenean roads where her measured, climber's approach has twice proved decisive.
- The promotion to UCI ProSeries (2.Pro) raises the stakes and the field strength, pulling in WorldTeam climbing units and ambitious ProTeams chasing a marquee stage-race result before the summer's bigger objectives.
- With the Col du Tourmalet on the menu for the fifth edition, the GC battle is built around one explosive mountain day sandwiched between two hilly stages that reward aggressive, opportunistic racing.
Form book & lore
First held in 2022, the Tour Feminin International des Pyrenees quickly became a notable June stage race for the women's peloton, raced over three days in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrenees. Past overall winners: Kristabel Doebel-Hickok (2022), Marta Cavalli (2023, after her composed climb of Hautacam), and Usoa Ostolaza in both 2024 and 2025, making her the race's only two-time champion. Previously a UCI 2.1 race, it stepped up to the UCI ProSeries (2.Pro) from 2026.
When to tune in
A pure climber's race decided on the mountain stage - watch the Tourmalet day for the definitive GC selection. The hilly bookend stages can reshuffle bonus seconds and reward breakaway riders, so the overall is rarely settled before the final kilometres. As a future race, no results exist yet; this is pre-race information only.
