Tour
de Suisse Women
The Tour de Suisse Women 2026 runs concurrently with the men's race on shared courses (with shorter distances) from June 17–21. Five stages: Sondrio hilly circuit (109.3km), Locarno along Lago Maggiore (105.3km), Bad Ragaz featuring the Schwägalp climb (120.3km), a 23.8km Aarburg ITT (shared with the men's race), and a 100.3km Queen Stage at Villars-sur-Ollon climbing the Col de la Croix with 2,795m of elevation gain. The shared-format approach gives the women's race the same iconic routing as the men's Tour de Suisse.

Narratives to watch
- Shared-course format: The 2026 edition continues running on the same routes as the men's race (with shorter distances), highlighting parity in the Tour de Suisse organisation.
- Aarburg ITT shared: Same 23.8km technical course as the men's race — direct comparison of women's TT-specialist talent.
- Villars Queen Stage: 100.3km Alpine finale with Col de la Croix and the Villars-sur-Ollon summit — described by organisers as 'relentlessly up or down'.
- Sondrio Grand Départ: For the first time, the Tour de Suisse Women also starts outside Switzerland — in Italian Valtellina.
Form book & lore
The Tour de Suisse Women was inaugurated in 2021 alongside the broader women's WorldTour expansion. Run by the same organisers as the men's race, it shares routes and gradually expanded in scope across editions.
