Stage 2 covers 105.3km on a hilly Locarno circuit on Lake Maggiore (Italian-speaking Ticino, Switzerland). Multiple Cat-3 climbs around the lake create a selective day suited to classics-and-puncheur riders. Lombardia-style terrain even though officially Swiss.
