🇩🇪 Mattias Skjelmose
Arc
Mattias Skjelmose rode the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (the rebranded Critérium du Dauphiné) in June as part of Lidl–Trek's two-pronged GC plan alongside Juan Ayuso. Caught with the favourites in the stage-6 split that blew the race open, he then climbed consistently through the mountain finale — sixth on the Grand Colombier (stage 7) and fourth on the Plateau de Solaison queen stage (stage 8) — to finish sixth overall at +2:41. The week was a solid Tour de France tune-up: not a podium of his own, but a dependable climbing block in support of Ayuso's third place and confirmation of his form going into the summer.
