Stage 2: AlManshiyah Train Station → AlManshiyah Train Station
AlUla Tour 2026
Jonathan Milan (Lidl - Trek) doubled up on the 152 km AlManshiyah circuit, winning a cleaner full bunch sprint over Daniel Skerl and Pascal Ackermann to extend his overall lead. Crosswinds threatened splits again but did not break the race apart before the line.
Milan makes it two: a textbook bunch kick at AlManshiyah
The 152 km second stage on the circuit around AlManshiyah Train Station was again exposed to crosswinds, which repeatedly stretched and frayed the bunch but, unlike Stage 1, did not produce a decisive front group. Things regrouped enough for a mass gallop, and Jonathan Milan confirmed his status as the fastest man in the race, comfortably winning the sprint ahead of Daniel Skerl and Pascal Ackermann. It was a more conventional, controlled sprint than the chaotic opener, and it tightened Lidl - Trek's grip on the leader's jersey before the road tilted upward on Stage 3.
Milan extends his lead before the mountains
With another stage win and the maximum time bonus, Jonathan Milan strengthened his overall lead heading into the first summit finish. The GC remained tightly bunched among the sprinters and all-rounders who had made the Stage 1 front split, with the real reshaping still to come on the Stage 3 climb to Bir Jaydah Mountain Wirkah.
