What the stage looks like
Stage 4 is the 12.7km individual time trial from Belluno to a summit finish at Nevegal Tudor — a UPHILL TT and the first major GC test of the race. The climb to Nevegal is a sustained mid-gradient effort: a hybrid course where TT-specialists with climbing legs outperform pure power TT riders.
What to follow
- Uphill ITT: 12.7km of mostly climbing rewards pure climbers with TT skills over pure power riders.
- Mountain TT GC test: expect time gaps of 60-90 seconds between top contenders and pure sprinters.
- Sponsorship note: 'Nevegal Tudor' branding reflects the Tudor watches sponsorship now extending to women's cycling.
When to tune in
Climbers favoured over TT specialists — watch the splits at the bottom of the climb vs the top. Anyone losing 90+ seconds here is effectively out of GC contention.
