§ 03 — Storylines
What to follow
- Aosta Valley return — the Giro revisits classic Italian Alpine terrain.
- Short Alpine stages produce bigger GC time gaps than long ones because the GC riders attack earlier.
- Crucial weekend: stage 14 + stage 15 (sprint reset) + Alpine block ahead.
§ 04 — Viewing Notes
When to tune in
Watch for attacks from 8-10km out — the short distance encourages early aggression. Time gaps could be 2+ minutes between top and 10th.
