Eschborn–Frankfurt
211.4km WorldTour one-day race from Eschborn into the Taunus hills west of Frankfurt and back to a circuit finish in central Frankfurt on May 1 (German Labour Day). Roughly 2,000m of climbing centred on multiple ascents of the Feldberg and the savagely steep Mammolshain.

Narratives to watch
- 60th edition of a German classic that has been a constant on May 1 (Labour Day) for six decades and is in its 10th year at WorldTour level.
- Bridge race between the Ardennes Classics and the Giro d'Italia — a final tune-up for puncheurs and a chance for Classics survivors to grab one more big result.
- The Feldberg–Mammolshain combo regularly makes the bunch sprint a 'reduced' affair: the question each year is whether the puncheurs can drop the fast finishers before Frankfurt.
- Strong German home crowd along the Feldberg climbs creates Tour-style atmosphere — a rare Bundesrepublik WorldTour day.
Form book & lore
First held in 1962 and known historically as Rund um den Henninger-Turm. Norway's Alexander Kristoff won four straight editions (2014–2018). Promoted to WorldTour status in 2017.
When to tune in
Tune in for the second Feldberg pass with about 90km to go. The third Mammolshain ascent inside 35km to go is where the winning move usually goes. If a small group survives to the Frankfurt circuit it will sprint between the Alte Oper and the Mainufer.
