Form book & lore
First run in 1908 as the Tour of Belgium (Ronde van België) and held almost continuously since 2002, the Baloise Belgium Tour is one of cycling's oldest stage races. Tony Martin holds the record with three overall wins; Remco Evenepoel won back-to-back editions in 2019 and 2021. Recent champions reflect the race's hybrid identity — classics man Mathieu van der Poel (2023), time-trial winner Søren Wærenskjold (2024) and Filippo Baroncini (2025). A 2.Pro race on the calendar's June run-in, it serves as a key Tour de France form-finder and a showcase for Belgium's home talent.
